duties and Responsibities:The health science librarian, or medical librarian, helps health professionals access the most current information available on a plethora of medical topics. They are responsible for organizing and disseminating biomedical, scientific and clinical, as well as general information to staff in a health care delivery or educational setting. Health science librarians are in charge of arranging information resources such as texts, CD-ROMs, journals, and electronic databases. They may also offer technical services such as selection of book titles, journals and audiovisuals, cataloging, and acquisitions. They can also produce the most current 


salary: $52,293      $116,200 per year.   


Education:The Medical Education Task Force of the Task Force on Vital Pathways for Hospital Librarians reviewed current and future roles of health sciences librarians in medical education at the graduate and undergraduate levels and worked with national organizations to integrate library services, education, and staff into the requirements for training medical students and residents.

Reflection: do you think you would like too be one? why? and why not? i dont really think i would like to be one because thats not my kind of job for me to be working there so i think no i would not like to be one.
