  8. 6. what were the circumstanance at the beginning? first start?  The rules of basketball, thankfully, are fairly straightforward. However, for the younger players, some rules can be easily forgotten. The three-second rule addressing how long an offensive player can be in the key before clearing out is a good example.

  10. 7.what was it like at the start? For over a century, baseball has been hailed above all other sports as America's National Pastime. And no other game during the regular one-hundred sixty-two game season has been as eagerly anticipated as Opening Day. Just look at any die-hard baseball fan's calendar. Vacation? Holidays? Anniversaries? All are often forgotten and pale in comparison with the coveted first game of the season. Ask any fan what the "official" start of Spring is. Chances are their answer will be Opening Day. Much more than just an event, it is an experience.
  11. 8.what type of shots were done?Regular:(Right handed lay-up) The regular lay-up is one of the most basic shots used in basketball. This shot is generally used when there is no defense around or when driving to the basket. To do a lay-up, dribble toward the basket from the right side of the court. When the player is two steps from the hoop the player should pick-up the ball and as the right foot hits the ground. The player should move the ball to the right side of the body away from the defense toward their shoulder. (For a left handed lay-up everything should be done opposite) keeping eye contact with a spot six inches above, and slightly right of the basket.

A field goal scores three points for the shooting team if the player shoots from behind the three-point line, and two points if shot from in front of the line. The team with the most points at the end of the game wins, but additional time (overtime) is issued when the game ends in a draw. The ball can be advanced on the court by bouncing it while walking or running or throwing it to a team mate. It is a violation to lift or drag one's pivot foot without dribbling the ball, to carry it, or to hold the ball.

As well as many techniques for shooting, passing, dribbling and rebounding, basketball teams generally have player positions and offensive and defensive structures (player positioning). Traditionally, the tallest and strongest members of a team are called a center or power forward, while slightly shorter and more agile players are called small forward, and the shortest players or those who possess the best ball handling skills are called a point guard or shooting guard.
