duties And Responsibites:A radiologist is a physician who is also an imaging expert with specialized training in obtaining and interpreting medical images obtained by using x-rays (radiographs, CT, fluoroscopy) or radioactive substances (nuclear medicine) or by other means such as sound waves (ultrasound) or the body's natural magnetism (MRI).

Education:A diagnostic radiologist combines the imaging results of a patient's organs, bones, and tissues with other tests' conclusions to reach a diagnosis and advise the patient regarding treatments or additional testing. Radiologists also administer radiation in oncology or nuclear medicine. Diagnostic radiologists may work in sub-specialties that focuses on areas of the body such as the gastrointestinal tract or the urinary and reproductive systems. Other sub-specialties include emergency radiology, radiation oncology, nuclear radiology, pediatric radiology, and interventional radiology.
